Kirriemuir Town House Calendar

The calendar is packed with over 60 exclusive photographs from private
collections all unpublished with a theme for each month of the year.
This is not only a calendar but a historical record of the Town House and
Kirriemuir and will be sought by collectors in the future.
The building is the oldest existing civic building still in daily use in
Angus and it is certainly an occasion worth celebrating. It is an
architecturally distinctive building set in the heart of the 'Wee Red Toon'
and as will be seen from the cover photo its heart is clearly seen.
Every month contains a meticulous sketch (provided by local sculptor Bruce
Walker) and detailed storyline (provided by local historian Sandra
Affleck)
of the development of the history of the Town House as it progressed from
1604 to the present day on each of the twelve monthly pages. This story has
never been told before and will prove of great interest to all.
